As one of the highlights of this year’s EU \u2013 CHINA Fair, representatives from top European companies were invited to share their experience and opinion on carbon neutrality. Audience from different cities, government bureaus and industries, who are already facing or will face the challenges of \u2018carbon neutral\u2019 transition, joined the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u6765\u81ea\u57c3\u5c3c\u96c6\u56e2\u7684\u6267\u884c\u526f\u603b\u88c1\u3001\u4e2d\u56fd\u8463\u4e8b\u4f1a\u4e3b\u5e2d\u4e54\u74e6\u5c3c\u5148\u751f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u7b2c\u4e00\u4f4d\u5206\u4eab\u5609\u5bbe\uff0c\u63d0\u51fa\u4e3a\u4e86\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u5411\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u7ecf\u6d4e\u8f6c\u578b\uff0c\u4ece\u4e00\u4e2a\u66f4\u52a0\u52a1\u5b9e\u7684\uff0c\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u89d2\u5ea6\u53bb\u770b\u5f85\u5bf9\u80fd\u6e90\u7684\u4f7f\u7528\uff0c\u5c06\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u8d44\u6e90\u6295\u5165\u5230\u5bf9\u4e8e\u65b0\u5174\u6280\u672f\u7684\u63a2\u7d22\u3001\u5bf9\u521b\u65b0\u4f01\u4e1a\u7684\u6276\u690d\uff0c\u5f80\u5f80\u4f1a\u5f97\u5230\u66f4\u5927\u6bd4\u4f8b\u7684\u56de\u62a5\uff1b\u76f8\u8f83\u4e8e\u201c\u4e3a\u4e86\u6539\u53d8\u800c\u6539\u53d8\u201d\uff0c\u8fd9\u7c7b\u8868\u9762\u6587\u7ae0\u800c\u8a00\uff0c\u5bf9\u4f01\u4e1a\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u6027\u91cd\u7ec4\uff0c\u5bf9\u65e5\u5e38\u751f\u4ea7\u3001\u7ecf\u8425\u505a\u51fa\u66f4\u52a0\u5f7b\u5e95\u7684\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u624d\u771f\u6b63\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u8ba9\u4e00\u5bb6\u50cf\u57c3\u5c3c\u8fd9\u6837\u4f53\u91cf\u7684\u4f01\u4e1a\uff0c\u771f\u6b63\u5411\u7740\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u8f6c\u578b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first guest speaker, Mr. Di Giovanni, Executive Vice President of ENI Group and Chairman of the Board Directors in China, suggested that in order to make a better transition to a carbon neutral economy, a more pragmatic and developmental perspective way of energy using is needed, as well as investment in the exploration of new technologies and support to innovative enterprises. In many cases, investments on technology, or innovative enterprises will often yield a greater proportion of returns. The result shows that majority of the carbon emission of typical building materials happens in the production phase, while the maintenance and operation of the buildings (air conditioning, heating, management behavior) account for about one-third of the carbon emissions. Mr. He briefly introduced the \u2018White Paper on Carbon Reduction Smart Park\u2019, which was compiled with the participation of Siemens. He introduced how the combination of smart hardware and software can enable a wide range of infrastructures to successfully achieve carbon emission reduction at the operational level. Novozymes, as the world’s leading bio-innovation solution provider, has been working in recent years to make the production chain of agriculture and industry more low-carbon through bio-innovation solutions. Novozymes is one of the first 29 companies in the world included in the SBTi Science Based Targets initiative. Novozymes\u2019 lates target is to reduce its Scop1 and Scop2 emissions by 65, and 100% green energy supply by 2025, then reduce Scope1 and Scope 2 emissions by 75%, reduce Scope3 emission by 30%. In her presentation, Mrs. Di Canossa highlighted the number of jobs created and the amount of investment attracted by the transition to carbon neutrality in recent years. Ms. Kan pointed out that China and the EU have unique and complementary advantages in the transition process.
