Looking back to 2023, which we would like to call the year of change for China’s move towards carbon neutrality, the operation of the China Europe Carbon Neutral (CNEUCN) operations was gradually getting on track after its startup period and the of the pandemic time\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u57282023\u5e74\u521d\u65f6\uff0c\u7531CNEUCN\u5c31\u57282022\u957f\u4e09\u89d2\u4e61\u6751\u521b\u610f\u8fd0\u8425\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5927\u8d5b\u7684\u8bc4\u9009\u4e2d\uff0c\u51ed\u501f\u5176\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u82b1\u56ed\u6e7e\u6751\u8fd0\u8425\u65b9\u6848\u8131\u9896\u800c\u51fa\uff0c\u83b7\u5f97\u4e86\u8be5\u9879\u8bc4\u9009\u7684\u4e00\u7b49\u5956\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5f15\u5165\u201c\u751f\u6001\u519c\u4e1a\u533a\u57df\u201d\u7684\u5f00\u53d1\u7406\u5ff5\uff0c\u8fde\u63a5\u6295\u8d44\u3001\u4e61\u6751\u751f\u6d3b\u548c\u666f\u89c2\u7b49\u4e0d\u540c\u8981\u7d20\uff0c\u5b9e\u73b0\u519c\u6751\u4e0e\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u5e73\u8861\u534f\u8c03\u53d1\u5c55\uff1b\u8be5\u5956\u9879\u4e8e2023\u5e741\u67081\u65e5\u6b63\u5f0f\u516c\u5e03\uff0c\u4e3a\u75ab\u60c5\u540e\u7684\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u8f6c\u578b\u5de5\u4f5c\u6253\u54cd\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e00\u70ae\u3002
At the very beginning of 2023, CNEUCN was awarded 1st prize for its Garden Bay Village Operation Program in the 2022 Yangtze River Delta Rural Entrepreneurship Creative Operation Design Competition. This operation program introduced the development concept of “ecological agricultural area\u201d and realized the balanced and coordinated development of rural and urban areas through the combination of elements such as connection, investment, rural life, and landscape. The award was announced on January 1st, considered as a promising start to the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of March, on the 31st the webinar “Energy Crisis or Energy Transition”, jointly organized by China Europe Carbon Neutral Technology (CNEUCN) and University of Macerata China Center, was held. The China Centre is a CNEUCN partner represented by Prof. Spigarelli as member of the Scientific Committee.This webinar was the first of many activities about the China – Europe relationship laying a solid foundation for future close cooperation between the two parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, CNEUCN participated in the Conference on \u201cClimate Neutrality and Smart Cities\u201d, a key event of the 2023 Italian Global Research Day, co-organized by Turin Polytechnic University, a partner of CNEUCN, represented by Prof. Michele Bonino who is the Scientific Committee Co-chair for the European side, and The Sixth High-Level International Forum on Sustainable Urban Development, co-organized by China Centre for Urban Development (CCUD), a primary policy making agency about urban development with a long term and well established relationship with Mr. Bagnasco. Those two events are a great sign that the communication between China and Europe on carbon-neutral-related topics is getting more attention than ever. Thanks to CNEUCN\u2019s efforts in connecting China and Europe, it has been recognized as the \u201cFour Talents\u201d enterprise by Chengdu High-Tech Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second half of 2023, CNEUCN co-organized the key event of the 17th EU \u2013 CHINA Business & Technology Cooperation Fair, the conference \u2018The Transition towards Carbon Neutrality \u2013 The Common Goal and Joint Contribution by European and Chinese Enterprises’. The event gathered representatives from Fortune 500 European companies and world organization such as: Mr. Di Giovanni, Executive Vice President of ENI Group and Chairman of the China Board of Directors, Mr. Weber, CEO of Saint-Goban in Asia Pacific, Mr. He, General Manager of Siemens Building Products Division (West Area), Mrs. Han, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas in Greater China and Northeast Asia, Mr. Li Hao, Sustainability Manager of Novozymes (China), Mrs. Di Canossa Head of the Research and Policy Center of the United Nations Development Programme in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u672c\u6b21\u4f1a\u8bae\u671f\u95f4\uff0c\u4ef2\u6b27\u8131\u78b3\u79d1\u6280\u9996\u5e2d\u6267\u884c\u5b98\u9a6c\u6653\u5229\u5148\u751f\u4ecb\u7ecd\u4e86\u672a\u6765\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u591a\u5730\u8ba1\u5212\u4e3e\u884c\u7684\u4e00\u4e9b\u5217\u56fd\u5bb6\u7ea7\u4f1a\u8bae\u548c\u5730\u65b9\u7ea7\u522b\u4f1a\u8bae\u7684\u89c4\u5212\uff0c\u4e3b\u9898\u5c06\u56f4\u7ed5\u5b9e\u73b0\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u7684\u591a\u79cd\u9014\u5f84\u548c\u65b9\u6cd5\u5c55\u5f00\u3002
\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u4f7f\u5404\u4e2a\u4f1a\u8bae\u66f4\u4e3a\u5207\u5b9e\u6709\u6548\uff0c\u5404\u5730\u4e3e\u884c\u7684\u4f1a\u8bae\u5c06\u6839\u636e\u7279\u5b9a\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u80cc\u666f\u3001\u9700\u6c42\u548c\u6f5c\u5728\u673a\u9047\u56e0\u5730\u5236\u5b9c\u76f8\u5173\u5185\u5bb9\u3002
On November 8th, CNEUCN also organized the 3rd plenary meeting of its Scientific Committee (ScC) and Experts\u2019 Advisory Board (EAB) with \u201conline\u201d participation of 25 delegates. The ScC is a group of well know scholars and representatives from institutions, stakeholder network organizations while the EAB is a selected team of industries\u2019 representatives in synergic sectors.
Along the meeting, Massimo Bagnasco, CNEUCN CEO, introduced the plan for a series of conferences, at national level plus a number of local level ones, to be hosted in several cities around China. The main theme will be, of course, the path and necessary activities to be done to reach carbon neutrality.
In order to make it efficient and business oriented, the specific topics of each local level conference will be tailor made according to the background, needs and opportunity of that specific city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To summarize, we believe that in 2023, as a key point in time for China’s full shift to carbon neutrality, China Europe Carbon Neutral has made its contribution to the development of China’s carbon neutrality cause by continuously strengthening the exchanges between Sino-European enterprises, governments, and scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5c55\u671b\u5373\u5c06\u5230\u6765\u76842024\u5e74\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5c06\u7ee7\u7eed\u4e0d\u65ad\u4fc3\u8fdb\u3001\u52a0\u5f3a\u4e2d\u6b27\u53cc\u65b9\u5728\u5404\u4e2a\u5c42\u9762\u7684\u4ea4\u6d41\u4e0e\u4e92\u52a8\uff0c\u5e76\u52aa\u529b\u63a8\u52a8\u8bb8\u591a\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u5b9e\u9645\u843d\u5730\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u662f\u52a0\u5f3a\u4e0e\u4e2d\u56fd\u4f01\u4e1a\u95f4\u7684\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u5c06\u6b27\u6d32\u7684\u5148\u8fdb\u65b9\u6cd5\u4e0e\u7ecf\u9a8c\uff0c\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u5e02\u573a\u4e2d\u8fdb\u884c\u672c\u5730\u5316\u7684\u8fed\u4ee3\u4e0e\u90e8\u7f72\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u80fd\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u8ba9\u6b27\u6d32\u7684\u5148\u8fdb\u6280\u672f\u56e0\u5730\u5236\u5b9c\u5730\u5e94\u7528\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u672c\u571f\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u4e2d\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u5178\u578b\u6848\u4f8b\u5c31\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u62e5\u6709\u5168\u7403\u9996\u521b\u7684\u4e8c\u6c27\u5316\u78b3\u6355\u6349\u8026\u5408\u5236\u6c22\uff08ICCHP)\u7684\u4e13\u5229\u6280\u672f\u7684\u516c\u53f8\uff0c\u52bf\u52a0\u900f\u535a\u7684\u5408\u4f5c\u3002
\u4ef2\u6b27\u8131\u78b3\u79d1\u6280\u548c\u52bf\u52a0\u900f\u535a\u5728\u613f\u666f\u548c\u65b9\u6cd5\u4e0a\u7d27\u5bc6\u5951\u5408\uff0c\u4ee5\u4e0d\u65ad\u521b\u65b0\u4e3a\u6838\u5fc3\uff0c\u63a8\u52a8\u5e76\u52a0\u901f\u8fc8\u5411\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u7684\u9053\u8def\u3002
Looking ahead to 2024, we will continue to promote and strengthen the exchanges and interactions between China and Europe at all levels and strive to promote the actual implementation of many projects. Inparticular, to strengthen the cooperation with Chinese enterprises, and to commit to the localization, iteration, and deployment of European advanced methods and experiences in the Chinese market and viceversa, to better enable the application of the most advanced technology in China and Europe. A vivid example is about Xeca Turbo company which has the world’s first patented technology for carbon dioxide capture coupled hydrogen production (ICCHP).
CNEUCN and Xeca Turbo align seamlessly in their vision and approach, centered on ceaseless innovation as a cornerstone for advancing and expediting the journey towards carbon neutrality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u968f\u7740\u4e2d\u56fd\u653f\u5e9c\u7684\u5404\u804c\u80fd\u90e8\u95e8\u9646\u7eed\u53d1\u5e03\u4e86\u8bf8\u591a\u653f\u7b56\u548c\u8bf4\u660e\u6587\u4ef6\uff0c2024\u5e74\u5c06\u4f1a\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u8c0b\u6c42\u78b3\u4e2d\u548c\u8f6c\u578b\u63d0\u901f\uff0c\u4ea7\u751f\u5de8\u5927\u53d8\u9769\u7684\u4e00\u5e74\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u76f8\u4fe1\u8fd9\u4e9b\u53d8\u5316\u4f1a\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u52a0\u5f3a\u4e2d\u6b27\u95f4\u7684\u4ea4\u6d41\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u5e26\u6765\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u5408\u4f5c\u4e0e\u5171\u8d62\u3002
With the many policies and notifications issued by the several Chinese government entities along this year,, 2024 will be a year of great change as China seeks to accelerate its carbon-neutral transition, and we are confident that these changes will further strengthen communication and cooperation between China and Europe, leading to more cooperation and win-win situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
