By working together, China and Italy can leverage each other’s strengths to enhance environmental protection, improve sustainability, and promote green technologies. Marco Polo and also Matteo Ricci, both Italian, are the only two foreign figures present in the low relief which shows the historical profiles who marked China history and played a crucial role in connecting China with the Western world. This visit follows several high-level missions, such as those by Vice Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tajiani, and, just a few weeks ago, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Urso. Additionally, there is a potential visit by the President of the Italian Republic, Mattarella, before the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From cultural exchange, I now see more business exchange. Thanks to the work done by the Italian diplomatic representatives and business associations, Chinese companies have become more aware of Italy’s excellence in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, and green technology. Chinese and Italian companies can forge synergistic partnerships, yielding mutual business advantages, with the objective of meeting the demanding targets for high-tech equipment, develop new innovative solutions and even jointly target third markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
