In Europe, the Kalundborg Symbiosis project in Denmark is often cited as a successful example of an eco-industrial park. There, local industries collaborate to reuse each other\u2019s by-products and share energy and water resources, effectively reducing both emissions and operating costs. Similarly, the BlueCity in the Netherlands\u2014an industrial complex located in a repurposed former swimming pool\u2014hosts a variety of circular economy startups that share infrastructure and low-carbon technologies to minimize their environmental footprint.<br>In Japan, the Kitakyushu Eco-Town integrates advanced recycling technologies with industrial facilities to form a closed-loop industrial ecosystem that recycles over 80% of industrial waste. Meanwhile, in Singapore\u2019s Jurong Island, public-private partnerships have enabled energy and resource integration, turning it into a model for low-carbon, high-efficiency industrial development in Southeast Asia.<br>In China, few pilot zones have emerged under the country\u2019s dual-carbon goals. For instance, the Suzhou Industrial Park has adopted green standards in industrial development and launched carbon-neutral pilot projects, emphasizing energy-efficient buildings, intelligent energy systems, and renewable energy integration. Similarly, the Guangzhou Knowledge City has embraced smart city infrastructure and carbon tracking systems as part of its industrial planning.<br>A common thread among these projects is their commitment to&nbsp;<strong>digitalization<\/strong>, <strong>cross-sector collaboration<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>circular economy&nbsp;<\/strong>models.
