Driven by its Dual Carbon Goals \u2014 carbon peaking before 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 \u2014 the country is accelerating investment in green technologies, industrial decarbonisation, energy efficiency and the transformation of traditional industries.
For European technology companies, this evolving landscape offers a combination of market opportunities, industrial applications and pathways for technology development and commercialisation<\/strong>. China\u2019s large industrial base, sophisticated manufacturing capabilities and extensive supply chains can provide an environment where innovative technologies can be tested, adapted, integrated into industrial processes and potentially scaled at commercial level.
The opportunity is therefore not just limited to selling a technology in China. For selected solutions, China can also serve as an industrial and innovation platform<\/strong>, connecting European know-how with local R&D capabilities, manufacturing capacity, supply chains, industrial users and rapidly developing application scenarios. This can be particularly relevant for technologies addressing energy efficiency, resource recovery and the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries<\/strong>.
