The 18th Europe-China Fair: Fostering Trust and Connectivity in Investment, Trade, and Technology
过去二十年，中国-欧盟投资贸易科技合作洽谈会（亦称为欧洽会）已然成为投资、贸易及技术创新交流与合作的璀璨舞台。至2023年，逾1.2万家中欧企业汇聚于此，举办了高达2,913场商务配对活动。这一盛会不仅吸引了欧洲国家的广泛参与，更成为中国与欧洲在投资、贸易及技术创新领域的核心交流平台。它深刻体现了成都与欧洲之间开放合作的坚定步伐。
Over the past two decades, the Europe-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair, in short also known as the Europe-China Fair, has emerged as a premier event promoting innovation, exchange, and collaboration in investment, trade, and technology. By 2023, it had drawn over 12,000 Chinese and European enterprises, hosted more than 29,130 business matchmaking sessions. This fair has become the most participated event by European countries, featuring the broadest involvement of European enterprises. It serves as the largest platform for investment, trade, and technological innovation cooperation between China and Europe. It epitomizes Chengdu’s open cooperation with Europe.
即将于2024年9月26日至27日在中国四川省成都市举行的第18届欧洽会，以“互信互通·共享共赢”为主题。除全体会议和专题会议外，本届欧洽会还会以绿色发展、人工智能、农产品、生物制药产业等相关议题展开讨论。博览会期间还将举办对接会、配套展览和本地工业园区参观活动。
The 18th Europe-China Fair, scheduled for September 26-27, 2024, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, will focus on the theme’ Trust and Connectivity for Mutual Benefits‘. Along the plenary session and the dedicated conferences, the event will include discussions on green development, AI, agricultural products, biopharmaceutical industry, and other pertinent topics. Matchmaking meetings, supporting exhibitions, and a local industrial park tour will be also organized along the Fair.

The EU SME Centre is a European Union initiative dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) preparing to do business in China. With a team of experts specializing in business development, law, industry standards, and human resources, the Centre offers EU SMEs essential services and technology-driven business solutions.
为促进欧洲中小企业进入中国市场，欧盟中小企业中心将于 9 月 22 日至 27 日组织一个以绿色产业为重点的商务代表团访问中国。代表团还将访问成都，参加第十八届欧洽会有关可持续发展和去碳化的重要活动。此次商务考察团旨在为欧洲中小企业提供一个宝贵的机会，深入探索中国绿色产业领域的商业潜力和前景。与会者将有机会与潜在的中国合作伙伴建立直接联系，共同探讨和把握最新的市场发展趋势，同时更加全面地了解相关监管政策和格局，以支持他们在中国的业务布局和发展。
To promote the internationalization of European SMEs into China, the EU SME Centre is organizing a business mission focusing on green industries, to China from 22nd to 27th in September. The delegation will also visit Chengdu to participate to the 18th Europe-China Fair important activities related to sustainable development and decarbonization. This mission aims to provide European SMEs with a unique opportunity to explore business prospects in China’s green industry sector. Participants will have the chance to connect with potential Chinese partners, gain insights into the latest market trends, and understand the regulatory landscape.
申请现已开放给欧盟成员国和参与单一市场计划国家的中小企业所有者和员工、初创企业、产业集群以及行业协会。本次活动的重点行业涵盖：绿色技术, 可再生能源和储能, 环境服务, 水处理, 可持续设备制造, 资源回收, 废物减少, 先进材料, 供应链中的绿色服务提供商
与其他绿色发展解决方案。
Applications are open to SME owners and individuals working for SMEs, start-ups, clusters, and industry associations from the European Union and countries associated with the Single Market Programme. The focus industries include: green technologies, renewable energy sources and energy storage, environmental services, water treatment, sustainable equipment manufacturing, recycling, waste reduction，advanced materials，green service providers along the supply chain and other green development solutions.

Exploring Chengdu: EU Ambassador and HOMSs’ Mission to Southwest China’s Premier Economic Hub
今日，在欧盟驻华大使庹尧诲的引领下，包括18位大使（欧盟大使+17位成员国大使）在内的欧盟成员国元首代表团抵达成都。这是一项由欧盟驻北京代表团推动的年度活动，旨在考察中国发展最快的中心城市，让大使们亲自了解当地的特色和机遇，然后加深与当地政府的直接联系。成都被选为今年的目的地并非偶然。
Today, under the leadership of the European Union Ambassador to China, Jorge Toledo Albinana, a delegation of EU Heads of Member States, including 18 Ambassadors（EU Ambassador + 17 of Member States）, arrived in Chengdu. It is a yearly activity, promoted by the EU Delegation in Beijing, with the aim to explore the fastest-growing centers in China, providing to the Ambassadors a personal understanding of local characteristics and opportunities, then deepen the direct contact with local authorities. It is not by chance that Chengdu was chosen as this year’s destination.
